My name is James Fomby, and today I stand before you not just as a man, but as a testament to God’s endless grace, mercy, and the marvels of His creations. I am a survivor, innovator, and trailblazer, though these titles are not solely of my own making. The hand of God has shaped every facet of my journey.

From a complex childhood, the unwavering faith of my mother enveloped me, guiding me towards the Word and light of the Lord. At eleven, I opened my heart to Jesus, letting His love and wisdom become my anchor. My father, through his tireless labor, taught me about the power of hard work and the importance of resilience. Both planted seeds of faith and grit that would come to define my life.

But as with any journey, there were valleys. Life presented me with a challenge that would have broken many: the loss of my leg. But in that valley, I witnessed a miracle. Science, innovation, and the marvel of God’s creation brought forth a blessing in the form of an AI-powered ‘Robot Leg’. This leg wasn’t just a piece of machinery; it was a testament to God’s unwavering love, the infinite possibilities He bestows upon us, and the bridge between His creations and human innovations.

My granddaughter lovingly calls me ‘Papa with the Robot Leg’, a title I wear with honor. And every step I take with this leg, I’m reminded of Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This leg has become more than a device; it’s a symbol of hope, resilience, and the magic that happens when faith meets tenacity.
